U. Nebraska Scientist Using Proteomic Tools To Help Understand HIV-Associated Dementia

Pawel Ciborowski, an assistant professor in the department of pharmacology and experimental neuroscience at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, used 2 DIGE with DeCyder 6.5 software to analyze differentially expressed proteins in the sera of HIV-1 patients and identified 29 protein spots corresponding to 17 proteins as being significantly different.
