HUPO Plans Ambitious 10-Year, $1B
Project to Map Entire Human Proteome

HUPO officials hope to launch the Human Proteome Project at the organization’s annual conference in Amsterdam in August and begin work next year. The effort will use three technologies: mass spectrometry-based, antibody-based, and protein-interaction based.
