SIU Researchers Developing Instrument
To Identify Protein Targets for Rx Apps

Identifying proteins targets would allow greater insight into how drugs work, whether they work at all, and what adverse effects they could have, yet, according to the researchers, no such genomic or proteomic approach for such identification currently exists. Their instrument, dubbed DIABLA, could change that.
